First Step – First Word

like the first step
	in a journey of a thousand miles
	the first word of a poem
	sets the tone
	the direction
	and the pace
	and carries within it
	the goal or outcome
	of what is expected in the end

Just Do It
	write that first word
	take that first step
	and see where it takes you
	often ever so much farther
	than you ever thought it could

it is sort of like 
	you first word - hello
	and perhaps a smile
	that randomly introduces you 
	to a person 
	who can become a best friend
	for all of your life
	a person 
	with whom you can share
	just all of your joys
	with whom you can share
	your deepest sorrow
	with whom time spent together 
	seems to fly on eagles wings
	bringing you such magnificent views 
	of the human landscape
	breath taking in their depth and variation
	and words
	that somehow
	reach so far down inside
	they nourish your spirit
	filling it to more than overflowing
	with love
	and caring
	and most of all 
	with a passion for this life
	just the way it is today
	in this time
	and in this moment

so
	take that first step
	write that first word
	say that first hello
	there is a whole world waiting
	to share your life
	harmonizing with your spirit
	ageless power
	ageless light
	ageless energy
	radiating from within God’s universe
	bringing to you 
	everything you want
	in this wonder filled life
