Today is a test it seems
how long can I sit quietly
with my feelings
with my random thoughts
[wishing for even a lone goose fly over]
before I blink
before I have to turn on
the outer world clangor
that struggles to diligently
to spirit me away into the unimportant
“NEWS Flash - - Film at 11:00 PM
which is 99.44 % useless
for the living of my life
The North-East-South-West
shortened to NEWS
[and high over head a goose group flies over
bringing a deep soul comfort
and a warm smile into all my day]
and those honking geese
diverted my thought
diverted my feelings
letting this whole “NEWS” thought process
wander off into that actual painful Train Wreck
it really is
Truth is
we humans are ever so much happier
when we let those God whispers
he shares with us so quietly
while we walk together
just thinking
or perhaps randomly praying
which seems to always guide us so quietly
in all our life
My New American Flag 11/11/2011 Porterville CA JLW [152BT] (Dedicated to ALL who have served our USA) I have my new American flag flying today it was clearly made with pride it was “Made in America” it replaces one made in China nothing is quite wrong with it and yet it has always had that “not quite” flavor even with the form-fit-function that replicas always seem to have my new American flag has heart created by people who love this land where capitalism starts from within the soul and spreads its blessing far and wide made by people who feel the pride of American Exceptionalism regardless of how they came to be here There is heart in my new American flag it is the same heart given to us by the young firebrands who stepped up and pledged their very lives and sacred honor when they created our Declaration of Independence it is the same heart given to us by the young firebrands who stepped up and pledged their very lives and sacred honor and have given their lives on the field of battle throughout the world to buy this precious freedom we have today it is the same heart given to you and I it is nothing more nor less than American Exceptionalism for us to wear proudly yet again in the bright sunshine of this new day
Joy This Morning 5/31/2026 Clovis, CA JLW [769T] joy this morning just being alive in God’s Great Universe for another day with my dreams for all the joy there is in my life moving forward one step at a time on the little cat’s feet playing in the morning sun this most lovely new day my joy is about feeling loved in my community in my life and more importantly in all my heart loving all these folks each in my own quiet way and feeling the love they reflect back to me in the multitude of their own heartfelt ways each touching my heart remembered in the quiet of this sunshine in this morning bringing my own tears of gratitude as I write ever so quietly in this lovely quiet sunshine of the morning
